This ship was designed with some special requirements in mind. We wanted a model that could be easily stored in a small space or kept in the car, so that we could go flying almost any where we happened to be. This meant a relatively small model, electric powered of course, and with a short wing span, but large wing area for good slow flight characteristics. However, living in Michigan, where we are often faced with 15 - 30 mph winds, a slow flying lightly loaded ship would normally have some trouble. We came up with a novel solution, a wing that can be plugged into two different locations, one for faster flying with good penetration, and the other for slower flying on calm days at the local park. There seemed to be much interest shown in the ship, so we decided to put it into production as a laser cut kit. There are many photographs and some drawings showing the ship in the following pages. The kit is very complete. All wood parts are laser cut for us by a very reputable source. The kit includes the lovely light MPI wheels you see in the photographs, a comprehensive hardware pack, including stainless steel push rods, guides and Mini EZ Links ® DuBro. Servo trays are built into the ship and are pre drilled for HS 55s. An easy to follow 22 page, photo illustrated instruction manual is included and plans are available to buyers via email. One of the lovely features of this kit is that it is easy to build without plans and without a pin board. All you need is a flat surface to work on, and some silicon cooking parchment to stop the glue from sticking your creation to the kitchen table.
